Updated 18 October 2026. Orka in EUR; competitor in USD. No currency conversion or automatic savings claim.Open the questions that matter to your team. The full analysis is here whenever you want it.
An ordinary support question may need a clear explanation. A bug report may need evidence that helps an engineer reproduce the failure. Those jobs overlap, but they are not identical. Gleap is particularly relevant when the same team needs to follow the issue from the customer conversation into product work.
Its bug reporting tools can attach screenshots, device information and technical logs, with session replay available for supported setups.
Orka is a sensible shortlist when your recurring job is answering accurately across a store, an app and a small SaaS. Project context, private notes, shared knowledge and human takeover cover that everyday support loop. Do not equate a visitor profile with a debugging recorder.
If replay or technical evidence is mandatory, make it a separate trial requirement rather than expecting an inbox feature to replace it.
Gleap has a public help center, article collections, a custom domain and content inside its widget. The same knowledge informs Kai’s answers. It also documents article languages, translation and draft changes before publication. Those are substantive self-service capabilities, so this comparison does not award Orka an exclusive checkmark for having documentation.
In Orka, a multilingual help center and custom domain are included from Free. Published articles also help Orky, while source edits flag translations for review. The practical test is to update a real policy, check the widget result and ask the assistant a follow-up question.
A knowledge library earns its place when maintaining an answer is straightforward, not simply when its first article looks attractive.
Gleap currently lists Kai Support at $0.29 per resolution; a handoff to your team is not charged as a resolution. Its page also offers token-based Kai Support billing on request. Other agents and services can create additional usage charges. That is different from claiming all AI work is covered by an unlimited-seat subscription.
Orka separates the team plan from managed input and output token usage, with a provider-key option on Pro and Max. For a fair trial, record which replies actually answered the question, where a colleague stepped in, and what the measured usage cost. Do not assume a resolution equals one reply, or convert a token price into a fixed conversation price without a workload.
Use your own short questions and long exceptions in both products.
Gleap’s bug-reporting workflow can give engineering a marked screenshot, browser context and logs. It offers integrations into tools such as Jira, Linear and GitHub. For a software team receiving vague “it does not work” messages, reducing the time needed to reproduce a problem can be worth more than the difference between base subscriptions.
That is a different buying reason from ordinary website chat. Orka’s current catalogue establishes conversation, visitor and cart context, not an equivalent automatic replay-and-log capture system. Ask your engineers to evaluate one difficult report and ask your support team to evaluate one routine question.
The tool that wins one exercise need not win the other; decide which job consumes more of your week.
Orka supports automatic article imports from Gleap. Paste the public help-center URL during account creation or in the Help center tab, and the article import runs automatically. Once it is done, review the content, links and published destination before pointing customers to the new help center.
An article import is not a transfer of every conversation, roadmap item, bug report, integration or automation. Make an inventory of the history you must retain and the workflows you still use. Start with one product and a small group of teammates. Let them answer ordinary questions and pass an exception between colleagues before replacing the existing widget across your portfolio.
Choose Gleap when support is closely connected to collecting feedback and investigating software issues. Its unlimited team seats and projects deserve to be considered alongside those product tools. Choose Orka when you want a smaller support workspace with a free help center, multiple projects and clear control over when people or AI reply.
During a trial, ask an occasional teammate to find a conversation, read the relevant article, add a note and take over. Then repeat with a customer reporting an actual defect. Our recommendation is based on the documented scope of each product, not a hands-on benchmark or a universal claim that cheaper means better.
The useful answer is the one that fits the work your team really performs.

Starter includes one project. Team and Pro include unlimited projects and seats, so three projects do not mean three Team subscriptions. On monthly billing Team is $179 before AI and other usage.
Use monthly prices rather than the annual headline. Budget Kai usage and metered services separately. Compare debugging needs alongside ordinary support.
